GFFN’s High Ambition Group: consultations

Taking Stock of Progress: Scaling up transformative private sector investments in food systems

Tuesday 25th July, 16.30 – 17.30. This UNFSS +2 STM private sector Special Event will provide a platform for food systems private sector actors to take stock on progress of private sector transformative investment at scale for food systems.

Good Food Finance Week 2023

The annual Good Food Finance Week brings together leaders in the food and finance industries to discuss the latest trends and innovations in financing sustainable food systems. The 2023 event provided a platform for attendees to learn about the latest developments in food systems finance and explore opportunities for investment and collaboration.

Highlights of the Week:

2022 UNFCCC Climate Change Conference

GFFN and its core partners were present at UNFCCC’s 27th Conference of the Parties in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. We aim to bring finance for sustainable food systems to the top of the agenda.

Good Food Finance Week 2022

In April 2022, GFFN held its first Good Food Finance Week. It kicked off with a high-level Leaders Dialogue and continued with an event series that launched the Catalyst Groups. The week marks the start of the implementation phase for GFFN.

Good Food Finance at NY Climate Week

GFFN met businesses and investors during Climate Week NYC 2022 to demonstrate the progress made and invite them to join the network to unlock finance for sustainable and climate-resilient food systems.

Strengthening collaboration between private and public banks

This GFFN event took place in November 2021 to strengthen private-public partnerships to scale up finance for sustainable food systems.

High Level Leaders Roundtable 2021

The high-level leaders’ roundtable in September 2021 marks the official launch of the Good Food Finance Network.


GFFN is starting to become the go-to forum for the world of finance to come together and build massive momentum behind transforming food finance. Together, we must work to create and flesh out the Good Food Finance Agenda for this decade and beyond.
